Our client is a fast paced and growing company active in the medical device industry. They developed a new product and build a company around it. The new product is generating a lot of traction in the pharmaceutical market and to support this growth, Stroom is asked to hire their Global Procurement Manager.
Job inhoud
In this role you will have to combine a strategic mindset to work out a sound purchasing way of working, build a team of professionals that can tackle all sorts of categories but you will also have to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset to move dossiers forward even if that means that you have to jump into a plane to visit a supplier abroad.
Job vereisten
- You need to have a good track record in procurement and category management (5-15 years);
- You need to feel at home in the pharmaceutical world, and specifically in the 3th party manufacturing industry that is used to work for the (big) pharmaceuticals. A large challenge will be to defend the interests of your company vis-à-vis the large production orders of your larger competitors;
- You need to be agile, fast thinking and stress resistant. Although it is a fun bunch of people, things are changing rapidly and you need be able to follow or even lead the change in the right direction.
Wat we bieden
Place of work: hybrid -> Belgium, UK, Holland. In the first year you will need to travel up to 20% to get to know your stakeholders and suppliers.
